This place is AMAZING! We will definitely be back. It is worth the hour drive for us. The service was wonderful and so was the atmosphere. Our waitress Ana was very attentive and we recieved excellent service!

Fast, courteous service and great food! We travel and sometimes find it hard to find good Mexican food. Glad to say Tequila's did not disappoint us! Thank you SO MUCH! We will be back... many, many times.

Best Mexican restaurant that I have ever ate at and I didn't know what to expect bc I'm not from that town I was walking the Ohio River scenic walkway and just so happen to pass by this place and the smell that was coming from inside there was so good it made me hungry immediately so I stopped it to give it a try and I am very glad I did bc it was the best tasting Mexican food I have ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant. 5⭐+5👍

Good Food. They have a bean dip that they set out along with the chips and salsa. I thought that was a nice touch and different than other places. The lunch chimi with shrimp and chorizo sausage was excellent

Mediocre Mexican food. This is just another in a long line of shabby, slight run down, and thoroughly unimpressive Mexican restaurants. The menu is uninspired the fare somewhat bland and certainly not hot enough. This is the first time I have ordered fajitas and it was luke warm when it arrives at the table. On the plus side the beer is cold and the waiter kept it coming. Overall I would rate this place a pass.

We took the ferry to Rising sun from Kentucky. This was a great find. Generous portions, great salsa and bean dip. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were on point. The ambience was good, and you take a walk around the great town as well. I didn't have a margarita but my friend did and said it was perfect. Can't wait to visit again.

Looking for a place close to the Christmas casino aka Rising Star since the buffet was closed. The only other places open was Ben's Bistro and Jack's. Both basically sandwich shops. Found this place on line. Only 1/2 mile from the casino. What a hidden gem. The best Mexican food this side of San Antonio. The beef fajitas are amazing!! My husband had the beef taco salad which is huge! He eat everything. Our grandson had a combo plate. He's 16 & is usually a bottomless pit. He found his bottom 😂. Everything from the minute we walked in until we left was fantastic. Great service even with a smile. Will definitely be back. Just loved it.

First thing first, the salsa. Impeccable. Its league's above other salsas. Where most mexican restaurants taste like overripe tomato, this salsa had balanced flavor. They also have a friloje dip that rivals the salsa. I couldnt tell you which I liked more.Now food. I went basic with a Hawaiian quesadilla. If you appreciate Hawaiian pizza it's a good choice. Chicken was well seasoned, the pineapples were juicy. Wife had the pulled pork tacos. Soft, moist, delicious. Honestly the only issue was the rice and beans. Very plain compared to everything else, not that great. But those are side pieces, you come for the entrees and they deliver.

What an amazing little hidden treasure. The menu was so refreshingly different. We will definitely be back.

Tried Tequila’s while staying at Rising Star casino. Very glad we did. It’s all the way at the end of Main St., a one way street, by the river. Not busy on a Thursday night, we were seated and had chips and dips on table in 30 seconds, drinks in about 90 seconds. Impressive. Ordered meals of pollo con chorizo and the special meal. We were almost done with the chips when the meals came sizzling: 7 minutes. Food was excellent, service outstanding. Really glad we went and highly recommended.

Food is great, prices are a little steep for a big family but the portion sizes are enough that you will have leftovers or you can split an entree between two people. Their queso dip is amazing!!!
